It is not only about minimalism, it's also about good webdesign. And the two websites posted by anonymous no.1 are so ugly. This is nothing more than crappy web.2.0 design. clicked once and never again.
I disagree with the last-but-one comment - Minimal Sites is one of the very very few decent web design showcases out there... other than http://siteinspire.net, of course. ;-)
This site has become sore boring so this will be the last time I use it. I used to enjoy it but now it seems you only want to feature sites that have a specific look, and are a design portfolio. There are much more examples and inspiration of minimal website design out there. Widen your horizons before everyone gets as bored as I am.
