Some people embrace these limits. Other minimalists reject them because they’re too arbitrarily restricting, or they’re not the point of minimalism.

Either way, you must figure out your relation to the limits.

Limits are not the point of minimalism, but they accomplish something important: they force us to figure out what’s important. And if we don’t want to figure out what’s important, they force us to figure out why.

Which brings me to the point of practical minimalism: you have to have limits, without them you’d be overflowed with stuff / thought / emotions / software / etc. However, you are the one that sets the limits. What might be my limit, might be to high or too low for you. Find your limits and stick to them.

We recently went to visit my in-laws. It was a short 2hr flight and we stayed 2 nights and 3 days. This is what I packed for that weekend.
- 2 pairs of underwear
- 2 pairs of socks
- 2 tshirts
- 1 polo shirt
- 1 pair of jeans
- 1 pair of shoes
- 1 Houdini Jacket in case it rains. it packs to the size of a tennis ball.
- 1 iPad
- 1 pair of earphones
- 1 25 liters backpack
I wore the jeans, polo shirt, shoes, a pair of underwear and a pair of socks on he flight in and out. One tshirt was worn as a pajama and the other the next 2 days. Underwear and socks were changed everyday and washed in the shower.

I have stashed on my in-laws house travel shaving cream, disposable razor, deodorant and tooth brush so I don’t have to carry them with me.

Wogg Wogg 43
Yet another minimalist table, Wogg Wogg 43 - designed by Jörg Boner for Switzerland-manufacturer Wogg - offers an elegant construction of clean aesthetics and soft shapes. What I like most about this table is its various color/material configurations. Because of its simplicity, the ceramic high-glass lacquer looks just as amazing as the walnut veneer.

In addition, depending on space and usage, Wogg Wogg 43 has many different surface lengths to choose from; anywhere between 1200mm to 2400mm. The legs are split so that they produce excellent stability and maximum legroom. Ultimately, I can picture this table looking amazing in both a warm residence or a fast-paced office conference room.

Wear any jackets, fleeces or heavy clothing on you

If you are travelling on winter and you are bringing warm clothing that it’s somewhat heavier or jeans or corduroy pants or something like that, wear it to the plane….
