I’m a happy guy, grateful for such a wonderful life. I live and work as a freelance creative in Washington State.
I grew up drawing, always drawing. Therefore … love illustration projects.
I try and incorporate subtle illustration elements into all my work, giving each piece a human, hand-made feel. I believe in and enjoy the fusion of the analog and digital worlds.
Live Now is a collection of friends pursuing happy lives. I started it awhile back, after being diagnosed with cancer, as a method of healing. It has continued to grow in time with many methods of communication, including; a published book with HOW Books, an online community, future apparel line, a handful of exhibits and many more ideas. It’s such a cool project, and I’m very grateful to be a part of it.
I’ve got some really fun work going now. Working hard on our Live Now book, drawing, collaborating, planning, etc. Doing some things with Myspace, plus a few other exciting brand projects.
On the illustration / art side of things, I have a neat project going with Pinball Publishing, and a group show I’m taking part in at Gowanus Studio - NYC, opening May 22.
I’m also pursuing a new studio position, so if you are looking to add to your roster - please do get in touch.
Initially, try and explain a different approach with reasoning why. But, if the client is excited about their idea, do the best that I can with it and make them happy.
Great collection of work. Keep up the good work Jung.
Thanks for the interview!
Thanks! Otto is the best. Such a gift. The happiest baby I’ve ever seen.
I hope to be the best father I can - teaching, loving, laughing. My family and loved ones are very important to me.
